A La Carte has been a fixture in Bruntsfield for over 20 years and is one of the best spots in Edinburgh for traditional home made food. We have a fantastic range of frozen meals, cakes and puddings with a window that is overflowing with delicious scones, sausage rolls, biscuits, brownies and home baking every day.

 

Recently we have worked to expand our range of meals and cakes that are made with non gluten containing ingredients, the list now contains many of our frozen meals and several sweets and cakes for those with a sweet tooth. We make everything on the premises so just ask us if you need any information about allergens in any of our products.

 

Our shelves are crammed with a range of specially selected jams, sauces and chutney to compliment our home made goodies. 

 

We offer a weekly delivery service to make it easy for you to stock up your freezer or to help a relative keep a supply of healthy, home-cooked food in their freezer. 

 

You can order all of our frozen dishes in larger portions for you to heat and serve at home, we can supply them in either disposable foil trays for convenience  or we can lend you our ceramic or enamel oven to table dishes. We can even make them in your own dishes for the ultimate in dinner party simplicity!
